iPad Users’ Group: The iPad Users’ Group kick meeting off was a big success with 12 faculty attending and another 13 who indicated interest in joining. To maintain group momentum, an iSupport site on keenecommons has been created complete with information on OS updates, suggested apps (free and fee), and a calendar of meeting times. If you missed the invitation but would like to join, contact Matthew Ragan (firstname.lastname@example.org) and he’ll add you to the iSupport distribution list.

Assignments/Share Site: KSC faculty have been very willing to share assignments and reflections about technology adoption on the keenecommons web site. If you’re curious about some of the things your colleagues have been up to and what they’re doing in class, you should visit http://assignments.keenecommons.net/. Some of the latest posts include reflections on the Kindle, using Twitter in and out of the classroom, and creating a nutrition facts label.
Video Release from: If you’re working a project that involves recording someone’s likeness and voice, you probably need to consider obtaining a video release from those participating. CELT has crafted a universal Release from that you can use for any of your projects. You can find it by clicking here.
