Kristina Sargent was a geography major and a member of the graduating class of 2013. During her time at Keene State College, she had an internship working with the Nashua Regional Planning Commission. As an intern, Kristina assessed culverts, created GPS data of trails, created maps for the town of Brookline, NH, worked on rural addressing, and was involved with the Granite State Future program, among other things.
What Kristina enjoyed most about her internship was the fieldwork. She found that managing a number of different projects at one time to be challenging, but was happy to report that everything was completed on time. Most importantly, she learned a great deal of GIS skills.
After graduation, Kristina was offered a job at the Nashua Regional Planning Commission.
