Name of proposed Living Learning Community. (Consider something catchy but accurate):<\/p>\n<p>2. Names of sponsoring faculty, department(s) or academic program(s), and e-mail addresses:<br \/>\n.<br \/>\n3. Area of academic interest or thematic focus of the LLC. Is your LLC general interest, majors only, or major preferred?<\/p>\n<p>4. Required single course per semester for first-year students taught in the Commons. Please note if there are academic reasons for instruction to take place in a building other than the Commons (e.g., access to special technology or studio space). Explain how the courses are linked.<br \/>\na. Fall 2020 semester course name\/number and instructor:<br \/>\nb. Spring 2021 semester course name\/number and instructor:<br \/>\n5. Identify at least four learning outcomes of these courses, one of which needs to be a College-Wide Learning Outcome:<\/p>\n<p>6. List potential out-of-classroom activities that support the learning outcomes for your LLC. This might include attendance at campus events, field trips, hands-on learning experiences, other high-impact practices, and community-building events (e.g., eating dinner together, group study sessions):<\/p>\n<p>7. Will you arrange for support from a learning assistant, a peer mentor, a student doing an independent study, practicum, or internship with the LLC, etc.:<\/p>\n<p>8. Write a description of this LLC (no more than 100 words) that will be used to recruit students into the LLC and for the college to promote the LLCs:<\/p>\n<p>9. Do you want to vet which students will be accepted into your LLC? (This must be done for majors-only LLCs.) This work is done by mid-June, 2020:<\/p>\n<p>10.
