The LLC Oversight Committee consists of faculty, staff, and administrators from Academic Affairs and Student Affairs. The committee is co-chaired in equal partnership by a tenured faculty member and the Associate Dean\/Director of Residential Life and Housing Services. Other committee members represent the Offices of Academic and Career Advising, Admissions, Provost\u2019s Office, Residential Life and Housing Services, Transition and Parent Programs, and the two schools (the School of Arts, Education, and Humanities and the School of Sciences, Sustainability, and Health). The LLC Oversight Committee reports jointly to the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs as well as the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.<\/p>\n
The faculty leader of the LLC program co-chairs the LLC Oversight Committee and receives a 33% teaching reassignment (the equivalent of one 4-credit course) each semester and a modest summer stipend given the year-round flow of work related to LLCs. The work of other faculty on the LLC Oversight Committee counts as service in promotion evaluations.\u00a0 They serve two-year terms with the option for renewal.<\/p>\n
