Community Conversations on Medicare and Social Security

Social Security and Medicare are important programs for thousands of Granite Staters—245,563 NH citizens rely on Social Security and 216,551 rely on Medicare. If you’re tired of sitting on the sidelines while the President and Congress make decisions about these critical safety nets, come to the KSC Alumni Center on Monday, Oct. 22, to make your voice heard.

The KSC Alumni Association and AARP are hosting a community conversation called “You’ve Earned a Say” at noon (lunch will be served) and again at 5:30 p.m. (appetizers and refreshments will be served). Alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to participate and share their experience and opinions. You’ve Earned a Say Community Conversations give AARP members and Granite Staters of all ages the opportunity to speak up about how to strengthen these pillars of retirement security for current and future retirees and generations to come. Anyone paying into the system has a stake in the future of these vital programs, whether they are 20 or 75!

These community conversations are FREE and open to the public; however, RSVPs are required. To RSVP, visit the Events Calendar or call toll-free at 1-877-926-8300.

Those unable to attend events on October 22 can visit the “You’ve Earned a Say” site to add their own voice to the conversation, or follow the activities on Facebook.
