The Keene Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) has again supported Keene State students with gifts to two scholarship funds: $2000 to the Elsa Ware Scholarship and $1500 to the Diversity Scholarship. The local AAUW chapter has been a great supporter of KSC students since 1990; they’ve given more than $31,000 over that time. Be on the lookout for the AAUW annual book sale, set for May 15–17 on campus!
We have two annual events to raise funds for these scholarships. In addition to the Book Sale in May in Rhodes Hall, we have an author event–“An Evening with Authors”–in April at Stonewall Farm (Chesterfield Rd, Keene). This year the event will take place on Friday, April 19 at 6:30 pm (refreshments and socializing); 7:00 pm (program). Tickets can be purchased at the door for $25.
