Two Area Companies Support TDS Center & Safety Studies

TDSThe MacMillin Company, has pledged $6000 to the TDS Center Campaign in support of the building project. MacMillin is a long established commercial contracting company in the Monadnock Region, now owned by the DEW Construction Company. “MacMillin Company, like many other companies throughout the Monadnock Region, is a long-time friend of the College, recognizing the educational and economic value that KSC brings to the region and the state. We’re very pleased with their commitment to the TDS project and our Safety Studies program.” explained Ken Goebel, KSC’s director of development.

The CNA Foundation of CNA Insurance has provided a $2500 financial aid award for our safety students to be used this spring. This is the second gift from CNA towards the TDS Center Campaign and will be counted in the scholarship segment of the campaign. “CNA now employs seven KSC safety studies alumni in its insurance business. The company attended our recent Safety Job Fair in search of new employees,” Goebel said. “Clearly, this Connecticut-based company is pleased with the performance of our KSC graduates, and their financial aid award will be used to help current students.”
