The roster includes modern dance legend Donald Byrd\u2019s moving homage to Jewish artists of the Holocaust, Alaskan-born dancer Emily Johnson\u2019s performance installation exploring cultural identity and place, and Keene State faculty dancer <strong>Candice Salyers<\/strong>\u2019 series of dance solos. New Hampshire\u2019s own Apple Hill String Quartet returns to the Redfern stage with MIT composer Christine Southworth, and the Alloy Orchestra plays their original score during the screening of the silent science fiction classic <em>The Complete Metropolis.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Preview Party will also include a jazz\/percussion piece by music faculty member <strong>Chris Swist<\/strong> and a scene from last year\u2019s production of <em>Rashomon<\/em>. Candice Salyers will present a short dance, and Sara Coffey from the Vermont Performance Lab will discuss Emily Johnson\u2019s piece, <em>Niicugni<\/em>. Staff from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keene.edu\/cchs\/\">Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies<\/a> will speak about Spectrum Dance\u2019s provocative work based on Jewish artists who performed in Nazi death camps.<\/p>\n<p>The Season Preview party is free, but reservations are requested.
