My scholarship focuses on bringing local and expert knowledge together in collaborative, democratic ways to produce innovative solutions to controversial problems. I am particularly interested in civic dialogue about problems of energy, sustainability, and climate change.
I have been a Fellow of the Breuninger Foundation at the University of Stuttgart on the topic of cooperation and a Fulbright Scholar at Pondicherry University in India on the topic of biodiversity conservation. My publications are here.
