Dr. Timothy Allen

Professor Allen has expertise applying principles of physics, chemistry, and earth system science to geological and environmental issues, such as concerns about water resources.
Most recently, he has been working with students to assess lead contamination of soils and river sediments in Keene.
He has served on the State of New Hampshire’s Board of Professional Geologists, as a Director of the New Hampshire Geological Society, as an Officer of the Northeast Region of the Geological Society of America, and as an Organizer of the New England Intercollegiate Geological Conference.
